Talay - The relaxed ambiance and stylish décor feature natural
elements with high-tech touches. The captivating wooden entrance guarded
by a grandiose pair of lion statues while a waterfall flows over an
etched resin wall. Hues of reds, oranges and sooths guests with a
tranquil color palate of slate grays, deep browns and aquatic blues. An
array of Asian statues and artifacts procured by Veras create a modern
culinary retreat in West Harlem. Each element of Talay has been
carefully balanced by Veras and Rommel Macasaet to create a fulfilling
experience for all of the senses. Talay embraces the mystique and
culinary culture of Asia, and harnesses the excitement and energy of New

Talay's Thai-Latin fusion restaurant has recently closed and been

The first ever live comedy show was held on Wednesday, January 6th, 2010 at the New York Yankee Steak Restaurant located inside Yankee Stadium (Gate 6). The grand opening on January 6th was a successful & sold out event featuring known comedians A.G. White (HBO Def Comedy Jam & BET Comic View), Cory Fernandez (HBO Def Comedy Jam & Comedy Central), Talent (98.7 Kiss FM | Comedy Central | Showtime at The Apollo & HBO Def Comedy Jam) & music by the resident DJ HeavyHitter DJ C-Lo!
